A Message From Our CEO, Sheldon Kenton

I hope this message finds you safe, healthy and happy in 2021. The year 2020 was relentless for all of us, but each day I feel a bit more anticipation and optimism as the vaccine rollout continues to gain steam. I am hopeful the darkest days are now behind us and remain thankful to each of you as that is only possible because of our heroes in healthcare.

Throughout this pandemic, you have continued to care for our customers who remained on assignment. As the world starts to slowly return to international business and leisure travel, and study abroad programs begin again, we know you’ll be there for those global travelers when they need you as well. I speak for all of us at GeoBlue when I say thank you. It’s a simple phrase that could never convey how appreciative we are for the sacrifices you made and continue to make as we battle this pandemic. Thank you for your tireless efforts, your unwavering care and your compassion. And thank you to your loved ones for the sacrifices we know they make as well.

Provider Finance Statistics

As a GeoBlue contracted provider you have access to our Provider Finance department, dedicated to resolving payment inquiries promptly. In 2020, our Provider Finance team resolved 6,838 inquiries. The average number of days to resolve an inquiry was 5 days.

Staff Spotlight: Elliott Gougeon

Dr. Elliott Gougeon is originally from Scranton, Pennsylvania. He moved to the Philadelphia region in 2014 when he joined GeoBlue. As part of the Global Health & Safety department, he worked as a case manager and then later as a supervisor for the day shift. In 2017, he began working with International Compliance and today also works in Vendor Management as part of the Global Networks team.

Elliott graduated from the University of Wisconsin, Madison, with a doctorate in German Linguistics. He lived in Bonn, Germany for many years while writing his dissertation on the nominal syntax of Middle Low German. He also taught English in Kaiserslautern on a Fulbright Fellowship. He studied over twelve living and dead languages during his college career.

Elliott has also traveled extensively throughout northern Europe and considers the Rhineland his second home. In his free time, he likes to hike, read non-fiction and work on his shorthand skills.
